CSV files (Comma-separated values) are encoded in UTF-8 and use a semicolon (;) as field separator.
This standard raw file format can be imported in almost any application or database.
We provide an alternative normalized ASCII version (files with .asc extension) where all accents and diacritics have been removed. This version can be used to facilitate searching or sorting.
We also provide an specific CSV files with .sql extension encoded UTF-16BE for bulk import to MS SQL.
The file structure is described here.
